Germany crashed out of the 2018 World Cup following a shock defeat at the hands of South Korea.
The defeat puts an end to a turbulent summer for Mesut Ozil. The Arsenal star was under fire from Germany fans after he was pictured alongside Turkey President Recep Tayip Erdogan last month.
The 29-year-old was also harshly criticised following Germany’s defeat to Mexico in their opening game and was dropped from the team for the win over Sweden.
Following Germany’s defeat to South Korea, The Sun released pictures of Mesut Ozil clashing with furious Germany fans.
Per the source, one Germany supporter had to be held back by security as they vented their anger at the Arsenal playmaker.

However, Ozil – who played the full 90 minutes – was one of Germany’s best players on the day.
The £350,000-a-week Emirates star created seven chances, made more successful dribbles than any other Germany player and maintained an 85% passing accuracy rate.
