Everton have tabled a fresh offer for Besiktas’ in-demand star defender Domagoj Vida.
Vida has been closely linked with a move to the Premier League this summer after a string of impressive performances in the 2018 World Cup.
Everton have been in talks with Besiktas over the past week are are yet to agree on a fee for the powerful centre-back.
According to the Turkish outlet AMK Spor, Everton have now offered their out-of-favour midfielder Davy Klassen in an exchange deal for Vida.
Besiktas have been closely linked with a move for Klassen in recent weeks as they continue their search for an Anderson Talisca replacement.

Klassen joined Everton from Ajax for £23.6 million last summer but has failed to make an impact. The 25-year-old lost his place in Everton’s starting eleven and ended up providing just one assist in 13 appearances for the Toffees this season.
Meanwhile, Vida joined Besiktas for free in January and was one of Croatia’s stars of the show during their 3-0 victory over Argentina.
