Everton have tabled a mega offer for Besiktas star centre-back Domagoj Vida according to reports in Turkey.
The Croatia international has been closely linked with a move to the Toffees this summer following a string of impressive performances in the World Cup.
Vida only joined Besiktas back in January on a free transfer after his contract with Dinamo Kiev expired. However, the 29-year-old failed to impress in a Besiktas jersey and the Istanbul giants are prepared to offload Vida this summer.
According to the daily Turkish paper Milliyet, Everton have offered Besiktas £10 million and Davy Klassen in exchange for Vida.
Klassen joined Everton last summer for £23 million from Ajax but failed to break into the Merseyside based club’s starting eleven.
The report does, however, appear to be farfetched if such a player-plus-cash deal would value Vida in excess of £30 million.
Vida scored one goal in 13 Turkish Super Lig appearances for Besiktas this season.
