Besiktas have been linked with a move for West Brom forward Salomon Rondon
A Spor journalist Hakan Gundogar claimed the Super Lig outfit have been offered the chance to sign Rondon.
Gundogar says the Black Eagles have been approached by agents regarding the Ecuador international.
Turkish-Football sources have revealed that Besiktas have ruled out a move for Rondon.
The Super Lig outfit are in the market for a new striker after failing to replace Cenk Tosun after selling him to Everton in January.
The 28-year-old is however, not currently a target for the Istanbul based outfit.
The latest development will come as a boost to Newcastle United who have been linked with Rondon according to Birmingham Live.
Per the source, Rondon has a £16.5m release clause and that as many as 10 clubs across the continent are keeping close tabs on him.
The forward joined the Baggies from Zenit Saint Petersburg for £12m in 2015.
Rondon netted 10 times for Albian last season but was unable to prevent his side from being relegated to the Championship.
The Venezuela star has 12 months remaining on his contract but has yet to agree to an extension deal.
In total Rondon has scored 28 goals in 120 games for the Baggies in all competitions.
