Arsenal have confirmed that they will be replacing Mesut Ozil shirts for supporters that purchased the 2018/19 season shirts with Ozil 11 printed on the back.

Ozil has been after the shirt number since he made the move to Arsenal five years ago from Madrid.
The star playmaker admitted that it would be a dream come true to take over the No.10 spot.
“It has never been a secret how special this number is to me. My childhood idol Zinedine Zidane wore this number and it is still the most characteristic one for the playmaker position,” Ozil was quoted as saying by the Mail.
“I’m looking forward to putting it on for the first time at Arsenal after the summer break.”
Ozil will be hoping his new shirt number will put an end to a turbulent period in his career.
The 29-year-old struggled to maintain his form over the duration of the 2017/18 season which ended without any silverware. Ozil also featured during Germany’s disastrous World Cup Campaign.
Joachim Low’s side were eliminated in the group stage following a 2-0 defeat to South Korea.
