Liverpool Demand £15m For Forward, Super Lig Giants Now Willing To Pay Just £4.4m For ‘Plan B’

Liverpool are struggling to find a buyer for Daniel Sturridge after demanding £15m for the out-of-favor striker.

The Reds have yet to receive an offer matching their valuation but have no shortage of interest.

Besiktas are willing to take the 28-year-old off Liverpool’s hands but for a cut-price fee.

The Fanatik sports newspaper report that the Black Eagles view the transfer of Sturridge as their ‘plan B’.

Per the source, Wilfried Bony is their first-choice transfer target but they would take Sturridge if the Reds were to accept €5m [£4.4m].

The Super Lig outfit are concerned about Sturridge’s injury record and poor form.

The striker scored just three goals for the Reds last term and failed to find the back of the net for West Brom after joining on loan in January.

The Echo report that Sturridge has just a ‘few weeks’ to convince Liverpool Jurgen Klopp to keep him at Anfield next season.

Per the source, the striker will return to Melwood hoping to prove himself but the only reason he is still at the club is because they have been unable to find a buyer.

The striker has just 12 months remaining on his contract but has not been offered a new deal.
