West Ham have held face-to-face talks with Jack Wilshere over a summer transfer according to the Daily Mail.
Per the source, Fenerbahce have made a ‘huge offer’ but the Hammers are also trying to wrap up a deal for the midfielder.
Wilshere left boyhood club Arsenal after 17-years at the North London outfit on 1 July 2018.
The 26-year-old reportedly discussed how he would fit into Pellegrini’s plans next season were he to make the move.
Fenerbahce would be able to offer more than West Ham but Wilshere has his family to consider as well.
The midfielder would have to uproot his family and move abroad in what would be his first stint playing abroad and their first experience living outside of England.

The report also claims that Wolves and Everton are in the race but that West Ham and Fenerbahce are favorites.
The latest reports of the Hammers entering talks sent odds on the midfielder staying in London tumbling.
This is not the first time West Ham have been linked with a move for Wilshere.
The Sun recently reported that Hammers made an offer for the England midfielder but were only willing to offer a one-year deal.
