Club Brugge fullback Thomas Meunier revealed Beşiktaş showed a number of weaknesses against Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 that his side could exploit.
“They won’t lack motivation, if you see how they played against Liverpool. Getting past them should be possible. In the Europa League, you get to play teams that are better than the average Belgian team. That comes as a great motivation,” Meunier was quoted as saying by FourFourTwo.

Beşiktaş lost the first-leg against Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield but eventually ended up knocking the Reds out of the competition 5-4 on penalties.
Meunier believes his side have an advantage playing the first-leg in Belgium but underlined that he does not expect an easy game in Turkey.
“It’s an advantage to be playing them at home first. We have to try and create a gap in that game, so we can travel to Istanbul with an easy mind. The game in Turkey will be frenetic,” he added.
The Europa League Last 16 first-leg will be played in Belgium on Thursday 12 March.
Black Eagles president expects between 70-75,000 fans for the return-leg at the Atatürk Olympic stadium.
Beşiktaş are unbeaten against Belgium opposition in European competition.
The Black Eagles have only lost one game in the Europa League this season.
