Chelsea & Liverpool Make Offers For Porto Star,€35m Euro Giants Bid Rejected, Super Lig Outfit Hope Summer Transfer Goes Ahead

Porto are playing hardball with Alex Telles this summer. The Portuguese giants want to keep the Brazilian at the club after losing defender Ivan Marcana to Roma, and full-back Ricardo Pereira to Leicester City.

According to Portuguese newspaper O Jogo – via Sapo Desporto – Bayern Munich and Juventus both offered around €35m for the 25-year-old, but Porto rejected both bids.

This follows Chelsea, Liverpool and PSG making offers.

The problem Porto have is that Telles has a €40m release clause and would be unable to prevent interested clubs from holding talks if it was activated.

The report does claim that Telles may be tempted to leave after being hammered 5-0 at home in the Champions League Last 16 against the Reds.

The Brazilian may opt for one of the European giants interested in him.

So what does all this have to do with Galatasaray? Turkish-Football understands that the Lions stand to make 10 percent of the transfer fee if the transfer were to go ahead.

The Istanbul based outfit would make £3.5 million if Liverpool were to activate his clause.

Telles joined Porto on a £5.85m (Transfermarkt) move from Galatasaray in 2016 and included a 10 percent future sale clause as part of the deal.
