Arsenal boss Unai Emery is making plans to bring the best out of Mesut Ozil during the upcoming 2018/19 season.
Ozil recently put pen-to-paper on a new four-year contract with the Gunners.
The 29-year-old came under fire from pundits and fans following an inconsistent 12 months last season. Ozil also failed to deliver for Germany during the 2018 World Cup.
According to Football.London (via Express), in order to coax the best from Ozil, Emery is looking to sign a new midfielder.
The Express goes onto hint at Mexico’s star winger Hevine Lozano. The PSV star put in several impressive displays for his national team during the World Cup.
Emery is set to make major changes to Arsenal’s squad following his appointment over the summer.
Jack Wilshere has already departed the club following a 17-year spell with the north London based club.
Ozil racked up 14 assists and five seven goals in 35 appearances for Arsenal last season.
