Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspurs have joined the race to sign Croatia international Domagoj Vida.
The powerful defender has been closely linked with a move away from Besiktas this summer following an impressive World Cup campaign.
According to the Turkish outlet A Spor, Spurs have tabled a £16 million offer for the in-demand centre-back.
Vida has been in fantastic form for Croatia and scored in extra-time against Russia on Saturday.
Vida also converted his penalty in the shootout that helped guide his side into the semi-finals.
The 29-year-old is expected to start on Wednesday evening when Croatia take on England in the semi-final of the 2018 World Cup.
We recently reported that Liverpool also tabled an offer for Vida while Everton have been closely linked with the powerful defender for several weeks.

Vida only joined Besiktas six months ago on a free contract after his deal with Dinamo Kiev expired.
The Black Eagles are open to the defender leaving over the summer for the right price after seeing his valuation skyrocket over the course of the tournament.
The 29-year-old has four years remaining on his contract with the Black Eagles. Vida made 13 Turkish Super Lig appearances for Besiktas last season.
The powerful defender has made four appearances at the tournament, missing just the final group game after the manager rotated his team, and has a single goal to his name.
