Galatasaray are yet to confirm interest in the experienced defender and would not currently be able to sign him due to the foreign player ruling.
The current ruling set by the Turkish Foootball Federation (TFF) states that a club can only sign eight foreign players and that only five can play at any one time in a domestic game.
The rules will however, change next season, clubs will be able to play 11 foreign players in domestic games which would make Donk a more attractive target.
Donk has been playing in Turkey since moving to Kasimpasa from Club Brugge in July 2013 for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old has two goals and one assist in 13 appearances for Kasimpasa in the league this season.
