Jurgen Klopp Comments On £15m Rated Liverpool Forward Future Amid Reports Of Anfield Exit To Europe

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp reveals he has yet to make a decision on the future of Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge.

The striker duo are both trying to impress the Reds boss after disappointing campaigns last term.

Sturridge scored just three goals in all competitions last season, although he was held back by injury problems.

“It’s how it is for all of them,” Klopp was quoted as saying in the Echo.

“They have all the quality, you can see that, they are all really good football players.

“The boys, we need them. We play the games, we have the training sessions, they are nice fellas so it’s nice to have them around and then let’s see how it fits at the end.

“But it’s all about the boys. My door is that wide open so why should I make a decision today?

“I watch the games, I lead the sessions and then I make a decision at a specific point, but that’s not today and it’s not next week so we have still time.

“Everybody has a place here. I would be really crazy if I would not give these boys a chance – they are fantastic players, they’ve played fantastic games, so we will see what happens.”

Fenerbahce and Sevilla are interested in Sturridge according to the report.

The Yellow Canaries have made signing a new striker a priority.

Roberto Soldado is currently the only first-choice striker available and he is injured.

Vincent Janssen has returned to Tottenham following the end of his loan and Fernandao has already been sold.

Turkish-Football report that Besiktas are also interested in the England striker.

The problem both clubs have is the Reds £15 million valuation. Liverpool are unlikely to see their asking price matched and sources close to the Super Lig clubs report the Premier League club are willing to accept a lower fee.

The 28-year-old has just 12 months remaining on his contract but has yet to be offered a new deal.
