Besiktas star Domagij Vida continues to be linked with a move to the Premier League.
Vida has seen his value skyrocket over the World Cup campaign.
The 29-year-old played an important role in Croatia progressing to the final after eliminating England in the semi-finals.
Liverpool reportedly had an €18m offer for the powerful defender turned down according to the Fanatik.
The sports newspaper claim that the Reds have increased their offer to €20m following crunch talks.
Besiktas rejected the previous €18m offer, demanding €35m instead but have yet to respond to the latest bid.
The report also claims several other Premier League sides are preparing offers for the centre-back.
The Besiktas ace has started all but one game this World Cup for Croatia, being rested for the Iceland game after already having ensured group qualification.
Vida made the highest number of successful interceptions (4) and the most clearances (8) for Croatia against England.
Croatia take on France next in the final, Vida is almost certain to start alongside Dejan Lovren.
The defender joined Besiktas on a free transfer from Dynamo Kiev in January and has another four-years remaining on his contract.
