Euro Giants agree terms with £14m Stoke City star but face serious competition from West Ham

Galatasaray are closing in on signing Stoke City star midfielder Badou Ndiaye.

The Lions have been closely linked with the Senegal international in recent weeks as they look to bolster their midfield options over the summer.

Interestingly, Ndiaye only joined Stoke City from Galatasaray for £14 million seven months ago during the January transfer window.

The box-to-box midfielder did impress for Stoke following his move but was unable to avert the Potters relegation from the Premier League.

According to the Turkish outlet Sabah, Galatasaray have agreed personal terms with Ndiaye. The Turkish giants want to sign Ndiaye on a season-long loan.

Per the source, Ndiaye is keen on a return to the Istanbul based club who will participate in the UEFA Champions League next season.

Sabah go onto state that Galatasaray are set to face competition from West Ham United.

Ndiaye is seeking a summer exit from Stoke after relegation to the Championship.

The Hammers are understood to be interested in signing Ndiaye and are preparing an offer for the Senegal international midfielder.

Galatasaray ended up winning the Super Lig title and booking a place in the Champions League group stage.
