Liverpool Wonderkid Will Not Be Joining Juventus Or PSG, Deal Expected To Be Reached

Liverpool wonderkid Rhian Brewster has been linked with a summer exit.

The Sun reported that PSG and Juventus have entered the race to sign the 18-year-old.

Per the source, Brewster has yet to pen his first professional contract and talks are still dragging out between his representative and the club.

A source close to the player revealed to Turkish-Football that Brewster will not be joining PSG, Juventus or Arsenal and Tottenham who have also been linked.

The youngster is happy at Liverpool and wants to remain at the club.

A deal is expected to be reached which will see Brewster remain as a first-team player.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp had already promoted the rising stay to the first-team last term before his injury.

Klopp is a keen admirer of Brewster and has made it clear he wants him to remain at the club.

The Liverpool boss wrote a heartwarming letter with a special mention for Brewster for the Football Writers Player of the Year Awards.

The Reds boss wrote the following: “Rhian Brewster is just 18 years old. During the past 12 months Rhian has established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in English football. He has grown and risen in status at Liverpool. He won the world cup for your country at his age level — he won the golden boot at that very same tournament. He made his family — his friends — his club — and his country proud in doing what he did on the football pitch.

The youngster is expected to sign a five-year deal with Liverpool.

Brewster won the U17 World Cup with England last year but a little-known fact is that he is also eligible to represent Turkey.

Should the forward ever end up in the Super Lig he would count as a domestic player due to having a Turkish mother.
