Fenerbahce are in talks with Newcastle United over the loan transfer of Aleksandar Mitrovic according to the Takvim newspaper.
Per the source, Yellow Canaries sporting director Damien Comolli will travel to England over the next few days for crunch talks with the Premier League outfit.
Mitrovic spent last season out on loan at Fulham where he scored 14 goals and provided a single assist in 27 games in the Championship.
Fenerbahce are desperate to sign a striker this summer.
The Yellow Canaries do not currently have a single first-team forward available after selling Fernandao and returning Vincent Janssen to Tottenham following the end of his loan deal.
The Super Lig outfit want to sign at least two forwards before the start of the Champions League playoff stage.
Fenerbahce have signed three players this season, all youth players, 18-year-old Berke Ozer, 18-year-old Ferdi Kadioglu and 21-year-old Baris Alici.
