Werder Bremen have made an enquiry for Everton midfielder Davy Klaassen, according to Sky Sports.
Per the source, Everton boss Marco Silva expects players to leave over the pre-season.
Besiktas have also expressed an interest in loaning the 25-year-old.
Turkish-Football sources have revealed that Klaassen remains on the Black Eagles shortlist.
The club have been waiting for Silva to make a decision regarding his future before moving forward with a formal offer.
The Super Lig outfit want the midfielder on a loan deal.
Former Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun did think it was unlikely that Klaassen would join the Super Lig side.
Although that was said over a week ago and as we all know a week is a long time in football.
“I asked him if he would move to Besiktas, he said a move to the Super Lig is not on the cards and that was the end of that,” Tosun said in an interview with the Sabah newspaper today.
Klaassen has struggled to settle in since making his £23.5m move to Goodison Park from Ajax last summer.
The Dutch international made just seven Premier League appearances last term.
