Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil has begun pre-season training after returning from his summer break earlier than expected.

The 29-year-old has endured a turbulent month and retired from the Germany national team on Sunday.

However, Ozil appears to be keen on returning to playing football.

The former Real Madrid star shared a photo of himself training alongside Mohammed Elneny in Singapour. Ozil included the following caption, “Preseason work.”
