Fenerbahce are set to complete the transfer of Vincent Janssen from Tottenham on a loan move before the Champions League 3rd Round playoff clash against Benfica according to Fanatik.
The Turkish sports newspaper claims that Janssen will make the Champions League playoff first-leg on August 7 in Portugal.
The report also claims Swansea forward Andre Ayew will be joining him.
Janssen and Ayew will apparently both be on the field against the Portuguese giants.
That would mean both players would have to be signed before Fenerbahce send their official squad list to UEFA on 2 August.
Fenerbahce are desperate to sign a new striker as they currently have just one first-choice forward available.
The Dutch striker has been deemed surplus to requirements at Tottenham and the North London outfit will be clearing out unwanted members of the squad.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino did not include the forward in his pre-season US Tour and he will therefore not feature at the International Champions Cup.
The 24-year-old cost Tottenham £17.5m [Sun] from AZ Alkmaar but failed to settle in and replicate the form he showed in the Eredivisie.
Janssen spent last season on loan at Fenerbahce but the Super Lig outfit paid €5m in fees to Tottenham.
After a disappointing spell hampered by a length injury between December to April Fenerbahce have demanded a decreased loan fee.
Spurs are reportedly open to a €2 million loan fee for the 2018-19 campaign.
Janssen did still manage to score five goals and provide five assists in 19 appearances last term.
