Galatasaray are locked in talks with Manchester City over Jason Denayer returning on loan.

A source close to the Super Lig champions told Turkish-Football they are keen on signing the Belgium international on another temporary move.

Denayer would be set for his third loan stint at the club if the move were to go through.

The 23-year-old also spent the 2015/16 season on loan with Galatasaray.

City are keen on selling Denayer as he has just two-years remaining on his contract but the Lions are under pressure to curb spending from Financial Fair Play.

Denayer played an important role in the Lions winning the league title last campaign and booking a place in this seasons Champions League.

Galatasaray will target Anderlecht defender Kara Mbodji if the transfer talks with City collapse.

Mbodji’s agent Ediz Balkan has been in preliminary talks with the Super Lig outfit over a potential summer move.

Denayer is currently with the City squad as part of their pre-season USA tour.

The Citizens are currently participating in the International Champions Cup.

The powerful defender featured in the most recent friendly against Liverpool which ended in a 2-1 victory to the Reds.

Denayer was left out of Roberto Martinez’s Belgium national team squad which came third at the 2018 World Cup.
