Arsenal named Mesut Ozil captain heading into the International Champions Cup clash against PSG in Singapore.
Ozil returned to pre-season training early after publicly announcing he had quit international football, citing racism and discrimination as being key factors behind his decision in a three-piece statement shared across his social media channels.
Arsenal shared a tweet on their official channel with a photo of Ozil’s shirt confirming his captaincy.
