Wolves set to lose out in race to sign £33m star striker with Galatasaray leading the chase

Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray look set to beat Wolves in the race to sign AC Milan star striker Andre Silva.

The Portugal international has been linked with a move away from the Serie A giants following a turbulent stay in Milan.

Silva managed to score just two goals in 24 Serie A appearances last season. His performances in the Europa League were slightly better where he netted six goals in ten games.

According to the Turkish outlet Fanatik, Galatasaray are on the verge of signing Silva on a season-long loan.

Per the source, the Istanbul giants have managed to convince the striker to make a move to Galatasaray over Wolves.

Meanwhile, the Birmingham Mail state that Silva has been closely linked with a move to Wolves this summer.

Per the source, Milan Sporting Director Massimo Mirabelli has confirmed that the Premier League side have tabled an offer to take Silva on loan.
