Everton striker Henry Onyekuru on loan at Galatasaray will not be joining Valencia on a permanent move, sources at the Super Lig outfit told Turkish-Football.
The Lions made it clear the story is ridiculous and that it has no basis in reality.
The Super Lig outfit have not been contacted by Everton or Onyekuru’s agent regarding a potential move and are puzzled by reports claiming he is set to leave after only just signing for the club.
It turns out a story first reported by Score Nigeria was taken by Turkish publication Sporx without the original source being credited.
Valencia reportedly wanted Everton to terminate Onyekuru’s loan contract and sign him on a five-year permanent deal.
The rumour was picked up by several other Turkish newspapers before being making its way to England.

Additionally, Everton do not want to sell the Nigeria international and see him having a future at the club.
The Toffees did not include a buyout clause option in his loan move to Galatasaray as a result.
Onyekuru is on a one-year loan at Galatasaray and has already made a positive impression scoring twice in three friendly games.
The young winger is expected to be used as a first-choice winger for the Lions this season.
