Besiktas are in talks with West Brom over the transfer of Nacer Chadli sources close to the Super Lig outfit revealed to Turkish-Football.
There does however, appear to be some confusion over what the Black Eagles are prepared to pay for the Belgium international.
Belgium newspaper RMC report that the Baggies want £17.4m [€19.5m] for the 28-year-old.
The Birmingham Live reported that Chadli had an £18m relegation clause but that ran out at the end of July.
The Baggies are actually demanding £25m for the winger who has another two-years remaining on his contract.
Besiktas will not make a permanent offer for Chadli, the Istanbul giants want him on a loan deal.
The most the club would pay is a loan fee, any figure over £5m is out of the question.

The Super Lig side are confident they will be able to sign Chadli on a temporary move.
The winger is keen on a summer exit and is open to playing in Turkey.
Besiktas feel a loan move would be in the best interests of both clubs. Chadli would strengthen the squad and he may be keen on returning to the Baggies if they ensure promotion to the Premier League next summer.
