Man City team news: Pep Guardiola missing key names ahead of Chelsea clash – Ilkay Gundogan available for selection

Manchester City could pick up their first piece of silverware the season this weekend when they take on Chelsea in the FA Community Shield Final.

The Community Shield final is played between the Premier League title holders City and FA Cup winners Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday, kick-off is scheduled for 15:00 (GMT).

City boss Pep Guardiola is missing several key names going into Sunday’s clash.

Kevin De Bruyne only began pre-season training on Monday after being given an extended break after the 2018 World Cup.

Meanwhile, Kyle Walker and Fabian Delph returned to training on Wednesday.

Ilkay Gundogan is available for selection despite going under the knife over the summer. The Germany international had surgery to correct a deviated septum.
