Arsenal are plotting a £25m move for Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida according to The Sun.
Per the source, the Gunners do however, face a dilemma as they will have to sell the likes of Mustafi, Welbeck, Lucas Perez and David Ospina if they hope to sign Vida before transfer deadline day on Thursday.
The report highlights Mustafi and Welbeck in particular as being key targets the North London outfit will have to sell.
The problem Arsenal have no more funds available for transfers after already spending £70m this summer.
The Gunners could also face competition from Wolves who Besiktas are expected to make an offer.
Additionally, the Sun claim that Liverpool had a £13.5m bid for Vida rejected earlier this summer.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp appears to be out the race for a new defender this season making Arsenal arguably the most attractive side out of the clubs that have been linked.
The list of sides that have been linked with Vida in the Turkish media is a lengthy one including Everton, West Ham, Leicester City, Tottenham, Wolves – as well as Liverpool and Arsenal.
Vida enjoyed an impressive World Cup, helping Croatia reach the final, starting in every game en route to the France clash.
