Arsenal are reported to be preparing a £25m move for Besiktas defender Domagoj Vida according to The Sun.
Vida’s agent Ugur Avadan shared a cryptic message on his official Instagram account which had fans scratching their heads over the weekend.
Avadan had a meeting with Vida and Besiktas club official Umut Guner.
A photograph of the meeting was shared alongside the following message: “Vida wants to be a Besiktas legend.”
There were two interpretations of this message. Firstly, that the defender wants to stay at the club. Secondly that the World Cup finalist wants to leave Besiktas for what would be a record fee on good terms.

The official position from Besiktas remains the same, the club aim to sell Vida before the end of the transfer window.
Ideally, the 29-year-old would end up joining a Premier League side as far as Besiktas are concerned but they have until just Thursday to complete a move.
Vida has been linked with several Premier League sides this summer including Wolves, West Ham, Everton, Leicester City and Liverpool.
