West Brom Make £2.5m Offer For Turkish International, Baggies On Verge Of Completing Transfer

West Brom are on the verge of completing the transfer of Fenerbahce midfielder Ozan Tufan according to the Aksam newspaper.

Per the source, the Baggies have offered £2.5 million for the Turkish international.

The Yellow Canaries are prepared to accept the offer and Tufan is open to playing in England.

The Super Lig outfit are under pressure from Financial Fair Play to ensure their income is higher than expenditure.

The sale of Tufan would put Fenerbahce in the green.

Fenerbahce manager Phillip Cocu does not have plans for the 23-year-old.

Tufan fell out with former manager Aykut Kocaman and the previous board last season and had a last minute move to Crystal Palace collapse on transfer deadline day last January.

The Turkey international joined Fenerbahce for £6 million back in 2015.

Tufan registered two assists and netted three goals in 14 games for the Istanbul giants last term but was rarely used over the second half of the season.

In total, Tufan has scored nine goals and provided eight assists in 98 appearances for the Super Lig giants.

The box to box midfielder has 39 international caps under his belt for the Turkey national team.
