Besiktas are awaiting the sale of Domagoj Vida in order to sign West Brom Albion star Nacer Chadli according to reports in Turkey.
Vida has been closely linked with a move to Arsenal in recent weeks. The powerful defender has attracted the attention of Europe’s elite clubs after playing a starring role for Croatia at the 2018 World Cup.
Meanwhile, Besiktas have been closely linked with a move for West Brom’s Chadli, who also impressed at the World Cup for Belgium.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Sabah, Besiktas have agreed personal terms with Chadli. However, the Black Eagles are awaiting the sale of Vida in order to fund their move for the West Brom star.
Per the source, West Brom are demanding £2.5 million from Besiktas to allow Chadli to join the Black Eagles on a season-long loan.
Chadli struggled with injuries during the 2017/18 season and made just five Premier League appearances for the Baggies.
