Man City star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan appears to be in high spirits going into the 2018/19 season.

The Citizens kick-off their defence of the title with a trip down to London to take on Arsenal on Sunday.

Gundogan featured for City during their 2-0 win over Chelsea in the Community Shield final last weekend.

The 27-year-old took to social media to share a photo of himself on his day off. Gundogan included the following caption, “enjoyable day out at lake district.”

Sunday’s clash will be played at the Emirates stadium while kick-off is scheduled for 16:00 (GMT).
