Turkey international defender Caglar Soyuncu completed his move to Leicester City from Freiburg in a deal worth £19 million last night.
The 22-year-old put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal and was given a work permit allowing him to play in the Premier League.
Leicester City fans will be eagerly anticipating Soyuncu’s debut after two impressive seasons in the Bundesliga.
The Foxes take on Manchester United in the 2018/19 Premier League season’s opening game tonight. The clash takes place at Old Trafford while kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 (GMT).
However, Soyuncu will not be making his debut tonight due to a muscle injury he picked up during pre-season training.
A source close to the player has told Turkish-Football that Soyuncu will be sidelined for at least two weeks.
