Everton winger Yannick Bolasie could still find himself leaving Goodison Park this summer after failing to make a move before the end of English transfer window on Thursday.
Bolasie is ‘likely’ to join Galatasaray on a loan move according to Baris Ozbek, who previously played for the club before retiring and entering coaching.
Speaking to the Fotomac, Ozbek said: “I have been told Galatasaray are serious about signing Bolasie, he is likely to join on loan, the probability is very high.”
What is interesting is that Galatasaray have entered the race for Bolasie. Previously, Fenerbahce had been closely linked with the 29-year-old.
The problem is Everton do not seem keen on loaning the winger despite not appearing to have plans for him this season either.
The Echo reported that Burnley, Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough showed strong interest heading towards the transfer deadline.
Per the source, the Toffees rejected approaches from the mentioned clubs who were only interested in a loan move.
Bolasie cost Everton £25m in 2016 from Crystal Palace but struggled for playing time last season due to a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Galatasaray have already loaned one player from Everton this season, bringing in Henry Onyekuru earlier this summer.
