Galatasaray are confident of re-signing Jason Denayer on loan after the transfer window in England slammed shut last week.

We recently reported that Leeds United were interested in signing the Belgium international. However, Denayer has signalled his intent on returning to Galatasaray this summer.

A source close to the Istanbul based club has revealed to Turkish-Football.com that they are now confident of signing Denayer before the end of the month.

Per the source, Galatasaray officials were worried about teams from England signing Denayer this summer.

Fortunately for the Lions, they have up until August 31 to sign Denayer.

The Belgium international spent last season on loan with Galatasaray. If Denayer is to join Galatasaray it will be his third loan stint at the club.

Galatasaray kicked off their title their defence with a 3-1 away win over Ankaragucu on Friday. Man City meanwhile registered a 2-0 victory away to Arsenal on Sunday to extend their winning run of games.
