Basaksehir told their fans – not that there is many of them – to stay home for the Europa League Third Qualifying round second-leg tie against Burnley at Turf Moor on Thursday evening.

There was one fan who defied the ban.

Everton striker Cenk Tosun sat with Basaksehir president Goksel Gumusdag to back the Super Lig side.

The club shared a photograph of Tosun and Gomusdag on their official Twitter page.

Burnley ended up going through 1-0 on aggregate after scoring the only goal of the tie deep into extra time.

Tosun returned to Liverpool afterward to continue preparations for the Southampton clash at Goodison Park on Saturday.
