Galatasaray could face a tough time in convincing Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck to make the move to Istanbul.
According to Football.London, Welbeck is happy in London and does not want to relocate to Istanbul at this stage of his career.
The news will come as a blow to Galatasaray who have been closely linked with a move for the England international. We recently reported that the Lions have established contact with Arsenal and are interested in signing Welbeck on a permanent deal.
Welbeck’s future at Arsenal is cast in doubt after entering the final 12 months of his contract. Furthermore, the 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at the north London based club following the arrival of Aubameyang in January.
Emery has however stated that he would like Welbeck to remain at Arsenal.

“Danny is one of our players who has a multi-position possibility, as a right winger, left winger and striker, and I like this spirit,” Emery said, as reported by the Independent.
“And for me it’s clear. On Thursday the transfer window closed and Welbeck will stay with us.”
Welbeck made the move to Arsenal back in 2014 and has scored 27 goals in 112 appearances across all competitions.
