Arsenal have set a £8 million price tag on the England international striker Danny Welbeck according to the latest reports from Turkey.
Galatasaray have been closely linked with a move for the Arsenal forward in the past week.
According to the daily newspaper Milliyet, Galatasaray have tabled a £4 million bid for the 27-year-old.
Per the source, Arsenal are holding out for £8 million. The report goes onto state that negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing.
Galatasaray are on the hunt for a new striker after selling Bafetemi Gomis to Al Nassr earlier this week. The France international scored an impressive 29 goals for the Lions last season.
Welbeck has slipped down the pecking order at Arsenal but was included in Unai Emery’s squad on Saturday.
The 27-year-old provided two assists and scored ten goals in 43 appearances for Arsenal last season.
Arsenal are back in action this weekend when they host West Ham United at the Emirates stadium.
