Galatasaray are making progress during talks with Chelsea as they look to sign Gary Cahil, according to the latest reports from Turkey.
The England international has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge after falling down the pecking order at the London based club.
Cahil has not featured for Chelsea since the appointment of Maurizio Sarri as manager.
According to the daily Turkish paper Aksam, Galatasaray are close to striking a deal with Chelsea.
The Blues are understood to be open to selling Cahil this summer as they look to reduce their wage bill. The England international currently earns £85,000 per week.
Aksam goes onto state that Galatasaray are hoping to strike a deal in the region of £3 million with the Blues.
