Ligue 1 giants Lyon have joined the race to sign in-demand Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata.
The Belgium international has been closely linked with a move away from Celtic after failing to sign a contract extension.
Boyata has under 12 months remaining on his contract with the Bhoys and was recently criticised by manager Brenden Rodgers for not making himself available for a qualification clash.
According to the Italian outlet Calcio Mercato, Lyon have joined the race for Boyata.
Per the source, Celtic officials are preparing for the defender’s exit this summer.
However, Boyata was included in Rodgers squad which defeated Hamilton by a 1-0 scoreline on Saturday. The Belgium international scored the games only goal.
Meanwhile, Turkish-Football recently reported that Galatasaray are lining up a bid for Boyata.
Galatasaray are keen on signing a centre-back before the transfer window slams shut after failing to sign Jason Denayer from Man City.
Celtic are back in action on Thursday when they take on Suduva in the Europa League.
