Turkish Super Lig Giants Fenerbahce have refuted claims that they are interested in signing Tottenham star Moussa Sissoko.
The Yellow Canaries reportedly agreed a deal with Tottenham to sign the 29-year-old on a season-long loan deal.
However, Fenerbahce have denied that they are interested in signing the France international.
The Istanbul giants released a statement on Tuesday evening which states, “In the public opinion, the news that we are attempting to transfer Moussa Sissoko … does not reflect the truth.”
“Regarding a transfer of Moussa Sissoko to our club, there has been no contact with the player, the manager or the club.”
The 29-year-old was left out of Tottenham’s 18-man squad which took on Manchester United at Old Trafford on Monday night. Spurs registered a 3-0 victory over their title rivals on the night.

Sissoko has three years remaining on his contract with the north London based club. Tottenham signed the France international for £30 million from Newcastle United back in 2016.
Tottenham are back in action his weekend when they take on Watford FC in the Premier League.
