The details of Caleb Ekuban’s loan move from Leeds United to the Turkish Super Lig side have been revealed.
According to the Italian outlet TWM, Trabzonspor will pay Ekuban £270,000 in wages for the season (£5,000-per-week).
Furthermore, the Black Sea-Based side have the option to sign Ekuban on a permanent deal next summer.
Ekuban touched down in Turkey earlier today and will undergo a medical with Trabzonspor. The 24-year-old’s debut could be up against the reigning champions Galatasaray this weekend.
Ekuban joined Leeds United back in 2017 and netted just one goal in 20 games for the Peacocks side last season.
The Italian-born footballer of Ghanaian descent has found first-team opportunities hard to come by following the appointed of Marcelo Bielsa as Leeds United manager.
Leeds have made an impressive start to their 2018/19 season and are back in action tonight when they take on Preston in the League Cup.
