Fenerbahce are readying an offer for Celtic star centreback Dedryck Boyata according to reports from Turkey.

We have recently reported that Galatasaray also interested in signing the Belgium international this summer.

However, the Turkish outlet Fotomac state that Fenerbahce are ready to overtake their rivals in the race to sign Boyata.

Per the source, Fenerbahce will table an offer for the 27-year-old this week.

The Yellow Canaries have until September 1 to get the deal over the line.

Celtic may be open to selling Boyata this summer after the defender entered the final 12 months of his contract.

Meanwhile, the Spanish outlet Marca have linked the star defender with a £10m move to Sevilla.

The Hoops risk losing the defender on a free unless he is sold this summer or a new deal can be agreed.

Boyata was however included in Brenden Rodgers squad which defeated Hamilton over the weekend. The Belgium star scored the games on goal.

Celtic are back in action this weekend when they on their bitter rivals Rangers in the Scotish Premier League.
