Besiktas have major plans for their latest signing Loris Karius despite the 24-year-old only joining on loan from Liverpool.
Karius completed a two-year loan move to the Black Eagles last month. Besiktas do have the option of making the deal permanent.
A source close to Besiktas has revealed to Turkish-Football that they want Karius to become a brand ambassador.
Per the source, all forthcoming promotion activity will centre on the former Germany U21 international.
Karius has already featured on the cover of Besiktas’ official magazine. We recently-reported that Besiktas struck a deal with Liverpool for the goalkeeper’s image rights.
Liverpool opted to offload Karius over the summer after signing Alisson Becker from AS Roma.
The former Stuttgart star made his debut for Besiktas against rivals Besiktas. He made a string of impressive saves but was at fault for a late goal.
Besiktas are back in action this weekend when they take on Yeni Malatyaspor.
