Former Arsenal star defender Martin Keown has surprisingly praised Mesut Ozil following his goal against Vorskla.
The 29-year-old started the game on the bench but came on in the second half in place of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Ozil netted his second goal in the space of a week and once again looked to be in high spirits while celebrating.
Following the game, Keown told BT Sport that Ozil’s positivity is a good sign as it will lead to improved performances.
“That’s good news to see that, Because when he is having fun he’s creative and he plays his football,” Keown stated live on BT Sport.
“For a long time there has been a cloud over him and he hasn’t enjoyed himself.
“Maybe now that’s the star of him doing that but he has to work hard as well.”

Keown has previously been a frequent critic of Mesut Ozil but appears to be relaxing his approach towards the former Germany international.
Ozil is expected to return to the starting eleven when the Gunners host Everton at the Emirates stadium. Arsenal has now won four games in a row.
The 29-year-old has scored two goals in five appearances for the north London based club this season.
