Besiktas held Fenerbahce to 1-1 draw at the Sukru Saracoglu stadium on Monday in the Super Lig.
Liverpool loanee Loris Karius started his first Istanbul derby and almost kept a clean sheet, conceding late on to an Andre Ayew goal.
Karius was widely praised after the game for his display on the night.

Karius has started every game for Besiktas since completing his temporary move to Turkey.
The 25-year-old starred in his first European competition game since the Champions League final against Real Madrid last Thursday in the Europa League against Sarpsborg.
