Besiktas held Fenerbahce to a 1-1 draw in the Istanbul derby on Monday in the Super Lig.
Black Eagles star Ryan Babel opened the scoring with a stunning long-range effort.
The Istanbul giants were ahead for most of the game until Swansea City loanee Andre Ayew equalised late in the second half.
Babel was tipped to become the next big thing when he was signed by the Reds for £14m in 2007.
The Dutch winger struggled to really makde an impact at Liverpool and left for Hoffenheim four years later after scoring just 12 goals.
We took a look at how fans of his former club Liverpool reacted to the goal against Fenerbahce on social media.
Fans on Twitter were left awe-stricken by the goal and rather confused by his age. Although it feels like Babel left Liverpool years ago he is just 31-years-old.
Another Besiktas game another Ryan Babel goal..
