Galatasaray beat 1-0 at the Turk Telekom Arena on Friday in the Super Lig to end the week as leaders.

The Lions had to rely on center-back Maicon scoring the winning goal on 75 minutes, converting Omer Bayram’s corner kick with a header.

Everton winger Henry Onyekuru was dropped heading into the game after a poor display in the defeat to Akhisar the previous week.

The Nigeria international was brought on in the 64th minute and put on a far better performance making dangerous forward runs and causing opposition defenders problems with his dribbling ability.
