Leicester City summer signing Caglar Soyuncu was back in action for the Foxes U23 side on Monday night.
The £19 million signing is yet to make his senior debut for the club since making his move from Freiburg. The 22-year-old is in-fact yet to even make Leicester City’s bench.
Soyuncu started during Leicester City U23’s defeat to Arsenal U23. According to the Leicester Mercury, Soyuncu confirmed that he needs more time to adjust to life at Leicester.
Per the source, Soyuncu was comfortable on the ball and made several important interceptions.
However, the Leicester Mercury states that Soyuncu’s performance did not improve beyond mediocre in the second half.
Soyuncu was involved in an altercation with Arsenal midfielder Omole and picked up a yellow card. The powerful centre-back was subsequently substituted off.
