Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen has broken his silence on social media after spending the last few months in the football wilderness.
Janssen spent last season on loan with Fenerbahce and was linked with a move back to the Turkish giants over the summer.
However, the move failed to materialise and Janssen remained at Tottenham. The Netherlands international has however failed to make a single appearance for Spurs and hasn’t even been registered for either the club’s Premier League or Champions League squads.
Janssen recently underwent surgery on his toe and isn’t expected to return to first-team football until January.
The Dutch striker has remained silent in recent months until today when he shared a photo of himself smiling at his phone with just two emojis after it.

Fenerbahce held talks with Tottenham for Janssen over the summer transfer window and could make a new move in January in a bid to bolster their attacking options.
Meanwhile, both Besiktas and Galatasaray are in the market for a new striker.
