Loris Karius is no stranger to the world of social media.
The Liverpool keeper on loan at Besiktas was recently accused of being more focused on social media than football by former Germany national team player Uli Stein.
“He probably finds it more important to post beautiful pictures on Instagram and Facebook, as to bring performance on the pitch,” he was quoted as saying in Sport1.
Karius got all philosophical on us in his latest Instagram post.
The German keeper shared a photograph fit for the front page of GQ magazine but it was his caption that caught our eye.
According to Karius in order to succeed in life you need two things, ‘Ignorance and confidence’.
I can understand that confidence gets you a long way but was left rather puzzled by the need for ignorance.
Oh well perhaps Karius knows better.

Karius enjoyed some time off over the international break as he was not called up to the Germany national team.
The 25-year-old took a quick trip to his homeland before returning to Istanbul where he has been training with the Besiktas side.
Karius is expected to start in goal for the Istanbul giants away to Goztepe over the weekend in the first Super Lig game back following the international break.
